BANQUET ROOM POLICIES AND INFORMATION

Schedule time of functions:
Breakfast from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Brunch begins at 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Daytime functions are from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Evening functions from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

$150 for each additional hour over allotted time.

Our Staff will greet you and your guest upon arrival and will guide you throughout the function.

Table covers are white or off white with your choice of colored napkins.
Envelope basket, cake knife and server are available upon request at no extra charge. Full length table linens are also available in white or off white for an additional charge.

Dinner selections must be received four weeks prior to the function, as well as selection of beverages, linens, and any extras must be made within two weeks of the function.

This is a non-smoking facility.

Room Rental Fee of $100 applies for all events.

*If the need to cancel arises because of illness or bad weather, it must be before 48 hours of your event.

If cancellations are made with less than 48 hours notice, the client is responsible for the full cost of the event and will lose all deposits given up to that point.

A non-refundable $250 deposit is required to hold a specific date.

Rhode Island Law prohibits liquor, wine, & beer brought onto or removed from the premises.

Under no circumstances at all are confetti, glitter, rice, nails, thumb tacks, or sticky tape allowed to be used as decoration, no exceptions. A $100 cleaning charge will be added to the bill if the facility is left in a mess.

All items such as cake knife, favors, toast glasses, seating cards, guest books, and pens should be brought in the morning of the function, and be clearly marked with your names.

Bands and DJ sound volume will be regulated under the control of Via Roma management. Background music of your choice can be provided, (we are not a DJ service).

Seating plans must be finalized and given to us at least 3 days prior to the function. We will not accommodate last minute requests.

We will hold a specific date for up to one week; if a deposit is not received that date will no longer be held.

If you choose to bring in an outside dessert, cookies, or cake, from other bakeries, a charge of .50 per person will be added to your bill.

A final GUARANTEED GUEST COUNT must be given at least 7 days prior to the function. We will be prepared to serve up to 5 people more than the guaranteed count, you are responsible to pay for your guaranteed count.

All dinners and liquors are subject to a 20% taxable service charge and Rhode Island Sales, Meals and Beverage Tax. Use your discretion if you are adding an additional gratuity.

Please inform if anyone has any food allergies, or is a vegetarian, or needs a special meal prepared for them, at least four weeks prior to function.

Children’s meals also available upon request. (Each item you choose is $4.00)

Final payment is due on the day of the function either by check or cash. A 3% charge will be added if Visa or MasterCard are used.

Podium & microphone are available for a fee of $20.

Giant Screen with VCR or DVD Player available for $25.

Prices are subject to change without notice to meet increased costs.

We are not responsible for anything lost or left behind by the host or their guests.

Hosts are allowed in 45 minutes prior to their event to decorate.

Please inquire about having Via Roma cater your next occasion, either at your home, office, or anywhere in New England.

*Should collection services be necessary, customer will be responsible for all collection and attorney fees.
